We are looking for a highly motivated and financially minded Junior Accountant to:
• Assist in achieving accurate and timely accounting information.
• Assist in the compliance of business transactions with local tax requirements.
What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Prepare vendor payments and issue Payment proposal from SAP.
- Liaise with vendors and respond to vendor enquiries.
- Post relevant entries (local vendor invoices, local utilities invoices etc.).
- Perform vendor reconciliations.
- Perform the monthly credit cards reconciliations and liaise with banks when needed.
- Perform reconciliations per payment type (repayment or instalment).
- Receive documents from banks and perform the relevant reconciliations.
- Post stores daily sales’ reconciliation transactions.
- Follow-up with stores cash register and reconcile them at the month end.
- Communicate with stores for problem solving and correction of errors.
- Post bank journals in SAP.
- Perform the monthly reconciliation of General Ledger with bank statements.
- Municipality Tax.
- Submission to National Organization of Medicines.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include:
- Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in an Accounting department, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Fluency in English.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
- Knowledge of finance/accounting systems, working experience in ERP environment, especially SAP will be considered an asset.
