Scope:

We are looking for a Head of Accounting.

If you’re an expert in Accounting, Tax and Reporting and can help businesses make financial decisions by collecting, tracking, correcting, and communicating the financial position of the company, we’d like to meet you. Also, managerial skills are important for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Supervise and guide the accounting team members.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements ensuring accuracy, compliance and reliability.
• Responsible for Tax compliance.
• Review and recommend amendments to current internal procedures.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Develop internal controls and implement financial systems.
• Manage and coordinate tax and statutory audits.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• ACCA/CPA or similar qualification will be considered as an asset.
• 5+ years of working experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of local tax code and IFRS.
• Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting matters.
• Strong managerial, organizational, project management, analytical skills.
• Experience in ERP transitions and new tools implementation.
• Experience in internal controls and process reengineering.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team working skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
