Our company, a rapidly growing ship supplier for worldwide biggest dry bulk operators, established four years ago, is looking for a candidate to join our team in the Accounting Department.

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• >2-3 years of experience in an accounting department.
• Hands-on experience with Soft1 ERP.
• Excellent knowledge in English (both written and verbal).
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and Outlook.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating critical thinking and excellent communication skills.
• A collaborative yet independent work ethic.
• A professional demeanor to engage with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels.
• Familiarity with accounting plans and Greek Accounting Standards is highly valued.

Responsibilities

As part of our Accounting Department, your duties will include:

• Bookkeeping: Accurate categorization and recording of assets, expenses, payments, and receipts in Soft1 ERP.
• Invoicing: Issuing and dispatching invoices to clients.
• Supplier Communication: Managing supplier balances and resolving daily discrepancies.
• Document Verification: Ensuring purchase invoices are accurate and align with purchase orders.
• Transaction Management: Overseeing cash registers, managing bank transactions, and reconciling accounts promptly.
• Payments: Executing payments and addressing any discrepancies.
• Coordination: Collaborating with an external accounting partner on additional tasks.
• General Support: Assisting with various daily accounting tasks to ensure smooth operations.
