ACCOUNTANT

Premier Capital Hellas SA, the operator of 35 McDonald’s restaurants in Greece, is seeking to recruit an Accountant to its Head Office to join the nationwide team that proudly delivers the McDonald’s experience to thousands of guests all day, every day.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of daily accounting tasks with accuracy, ensuring that deadlines are followed thoroughly.
• Record inventory transactions, including purchases, sales and adjustments, in both General Ledger and Warehouse Management Ledger.
• Support in the closure of monthly management accounts with accounting entries and month-end related responsibilities.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of warehouse inventory records with accounting records, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Monitor warehouse-related expenses such as storage costs, transportation, and handling fees. Involvement in the statutory audit, collaborating with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
• Challenge, identify and implement opportunities for process re-engineering to streamline efficiency in accounting procedures, in an ever-changing industry.
• Create Dashboard Analysis that includes Sales vs Food & Paper Costs/Store monthly.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of restaurants closing stock with General Ledger.
• Work closely with warehouse managers, procurement team, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and effective teamwork.
• Co-operate and collaborate seamlessly within the cross-functional teams, supporting the overall Company’s objectives, and add-value to the overall business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-Related field.
• At least 2-3 years of related professional experience ideally in a warehouse/cost accounting department.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (eg. Mantis) and Accounting software (eg. Navision) will be considered an asset.
• Proficient in both Greek and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, with a focus on Excel proficiency.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to communicate effectively.
