We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 1-2 years of experience to join our finance team based in Kifissia, Athens, Greece.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily accounting entries in the General Ledger and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

- Support the month-end and year-end closing process.

- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role.

- Solid knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).

- Good knowledge of MyData Platform will be considered as a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and meet deadlines.

It will be nice to have:

- Previous work experience in a company's accounting department ideally in the retail sector.
