Responsibilities:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update accounts payable and accounts receivable and perform reconciliations
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and sensitive company data
• Keep both digital and physical financial records
• Assist in preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports
• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required
• Minimum 5 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience especially on double entry bookkeeping
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
• Strong confidentiality sense
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software, specifically Eurofasma Next and/or Pylon will be considered a strong asset
• Any relevant certifications will be preferred
