As a Chief Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing accounting operations across the organization.
You will ensure financial integrity, compliance, and efficiency while maintaining seamless coordination with the Group subsidiaries abroad. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and evolving company, contributing to its continued success and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead, oversee, and enhance all accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Develop and improve accounting policies and procedures while facilitating collaboration between the accounting department and other business units.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including tax and customs authorities, banks, auditors, and financial advisors.
- Supervise the month-end closing process and prepare monthly financial reports for the parent company, while also monitoring the management reporting of the subsidiaries.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, overseeing the preparation and submission of VAT, payroll tax, income tax, and other tax returns.
- Conduct and oversee the annual tax audit, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Evaluate and manage tax risks associated with international transactions, ensuring that all Group entities adhere to transfer pricing regulations.
- Align the subsidiary financial reporting with Group accounting policies and oversee statutory audits conducted at subsidiary level.
- Support the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree will be considered a plus.
- Qualified accountant with A Class signatory rights.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Advanced Excel and IT proficiency, with hands-on experience with ERP systems/ SAP (FI-CO).
- People management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
