The purpose of this role is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of different teams by overseeing sales related procedures, tools, and data. You will act as the bridge between product management, sales, finance, and other departments ensuring that operations run smoothly and allowing the teams to focus on their primary goal-driving revenue.
More Specifically:
- Monitor market dynamics and remain aware of product characteristics inc. pricing, inventory age and other key data.
- Support the order desk team by delivering accurate and up-to -date information regarding order processing, approvals, delivery timelines and pricing updates.
- Work closely with cross functional teams such as product management, finance, and sales to ensure that demand plans and sales forecasts are aligned with supply levels and with overall sales targets respectively.
- Facilitate communication to – and between the 3 above teams, overcoming any challenges in information sharing or in status updates.
- Regularly review forecasts and keep the sales and product team informed.
- Maintain a deep understanding of company’s product range to secure product updates.
- Prepare and analyze ad hoc reports and analytics.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or relevant field.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and forecasts.
- Fluency in English language (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP will be considered an asset).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- High level of accountability and learning agility.
- Results- oriented with a collaborative mindset.
