The Agronomist is responsible for:

• increased yield,
• standardised quality
• kept timelines for his operations on the orchard

The orchard is 110 hectares of apples, nectarines, cherries and blueberries. The agronomist will be responsible for the fruit they are have most experience with.

The agronomist will spent his/her time:

• Devising the fertilisation and disease and pest control program
• Devising a plan for the timely executing of the program 
• Monitoring conditions on the orchard
• Control over the irrigation plan
• Accompanying, training and controlling the people during picking, pruning, thinning and others
• Staying on top of contemporary best practices by reading scientific journals, visiting conferences and applying the knowledge on the field.

The agronomist needs to:

• Have a minimum 5 years experience as a field technician in either cherry or nectarine or apple production.
• Speak adequate english to communicate with other staff.
• Move to Kavarna, Bulgaria where the orchard is.
