The Store manager at MAC Store is responsible for customer service, store P&L, team management and store operations. End to end responsibility of training and developing the team. Ensure optimal rostering, visual merchandising, and inventory always. The store manager is dedicated in aligning and engaging the employees to the values and principles of the brand and creating a memorable shopping experience for all customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES

  • Train the team on customer service and sales techniques to improve performance.
  • Monitor commercial KPIs
  • Understand the business trends and competitive dynamics to propose action plans to generate incremental sales.
  • Create daily/weekly action plans to animate the store, motivate the team
  • Leverage social media and omni-channel initiatives and leverage them to drive the business.
  • Plan and drive virtual selling activities.
  • Drive transactions and sales of the entire team to achieve the store sales targets.
  • Monitor individual performance of each beauty advisor/make-up artist/stylist and coach them for better performance.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Provide clear goals and expectations
  • Recruit, train, and develop store staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and sales techniques
  • Manage time, establish priorities, delegate, effectively to meet goals and objectives
  • Conduct required performance reviews and regular team meetings
  • Hold individuals accountable for their own achievements, performance, behaviours and compliance to policies and procedures

STORE OPERATIONS

  • Manage all store operations
  • Maintain and monitor inventory levels
  • Preserve hygiene standards as per guidelines
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed
  • Optimize staff schedule to support peak hours in traffic to maximize staff productivity to drive the conversion rate
  • Ensure all reports and documentation are completed
  • Control all store expenses
  • Adhere to all company and brand policies and procedures
  • Ensure to follow sustainability and implement guidelines

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high traffic retail management, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of beauty and cosmetic products, trends, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in retail management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
