Job Description:
Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. This role will focus on various aspects of the hotel's operations, including revenue optimization, and operational efficiency.
Applicant’s main accountabilities:
- Collect and compile data from various sources (property management systems, reservations Platforms, financial reports) to create meaningful reports.
- Develop and maintain regular performance reports on key metrics (occupancy rates, average daily rate, and revenue per available room).
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape and pricing strategies of other hotels in Rhodes.
- Assist in the creation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide insights into revenue and cost projections for the hotel’s financial planning.
- Ensure data privacy and security protocols are followed in data handing and reporting.
Applicant’s main qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data science or relevant field.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Data science, Economics or relevant field would be considered as extra asset.
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and databases.
- Minimum 2 years’ related experience in similar role.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus (preferably German).
