The Availability Management Associate will play a critical role in driving accurate demand forecasting, ensuring optimal availability, and enabling efficient resource management to meet the organization’s operational needs. Reporting to the Availability Management Analyst, this role will focus on forecasting future requirements by analyzing trends, monitoring slot and role shifts, and providing timely data to support decision-making.
As an Availability Management Associate your tasks will include the following:
- Develop and maintain short- and long-term forecasts for exam demand and workforce requirements, leveraging historical data, real-time trends, and predictive analytics.
- Gather, compile, and analyze data to support demand forecasting and identify emerging trends, enabling proactive decision-making.
- Work closely with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and ensure that forecasts align with operational priorities and business goals.
- Utilize trend analysis, proactive data management, and forecast adjustments to optimize workforce availability and operational efficiency.
- Assist in preparing detailed reports, dashboards, and forecast models to visualize trends, risks, and performance metrics related to slot availability and demand.
- Support and drive process improvements aimed at increasing forecasting accuracy, operational effectiveness, and reducing reliance on manual tasks.
- Utilize in-house tools and software to ensure forecasting reliability, daily operational efficiency, and seamless data synchronization for availability and demand tracking.
What We Look For:
- A bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a demonstrated focus on forecasting and data-driven methodologies.
- Proven experience of 2+ years in forecasting, workforce or availability management, scheduling, or a similar role, particularly within fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Strong skills in data interpretation, forecasting, and reporting, with an emphasis on predictive analytics and statistical modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools, with experience in forecasting software or workforce management systems being highly desirable.
- Exceptional command of the English language (native-like fluency or C2 level certification preferred). Certifications such as LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL are a plus.
- Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
- Familiarity with advanced data modeling techniques and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with a focus on forecasting accuracy.
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain efficiency in a dynamic environment.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data and insights effectively.
- Proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities, perform under tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
- A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
- HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
- Financial background check
- Employment reference check
- If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK
In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
