In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire a Spa Supervisor / Receptionist.
Our new staff will implement our Service Excellence Culture at our fully renovated resort in Crete, Rocrita Lifestyle Beach Resort, which is located in the charming area of Mochlos, Crete. Our hotel is a haven for travelers seeking a refined and inspirational stay with their loved ones, and will be opening its doors for the season 2025. Position Summary
The Spa Supervisor/ Receptionist is responsible for the seamless operation of Spa and Fitness, ensuring excellent coordination of all its functions and the highest level of customer service. The position reports to the Spa Manager.
Main Responsibilities
Operations
- Schedules spa appointments efficiently, taking into consideration therapist availability, guest preferences and spa profitability. Confirms appointments and provides reminders to guests as needed. Coordinates with spa staff to ensure a seamless scheduling process.
- Manages the check-in and check-out process for spa guests, ensures accurate and timely processing of payments and maintains organized records of spa transactions.
- Assists in maintaining the necessary stock of spa products and supplies.
- Efficiently utilizes the Hotel and Spa software as well as web applications.
- Liaises with all relevant departments for the day-to-day needs of the Wellness facilities.
- Performs spa treatments when needed.
Guest Services
- Interacts with all spa guests in a friendly and professional manner, greets, welcomes them and makes sure they receive a personalized experience that exceeds their expectations.
- Handles inquiries promptly and efficiently, provides information about spa treatments, fitness and retail and assists guests in selecting appropriate services and products based on their preferences and needs.
- Addresses guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Resolves any issues that arise, follows-up and reverses negative experiences.
- Builds positive relationships with repeated spa guests and seeks feedback with the aim of enhancing the quality of services.
- Possesses very good knowledge of all the Hotel services and facilities and is able to provide relevant information.
Sales
- Informs guests about current promotions, discounts, and spa packages.
- Actively promotes wellness services and retail products and encourages guests to upgrade their purchases via upselling.
- Organizes and participates in promotional actions and events.
- Liaises with Guest Services and Front Office departments to promote wellness services and facilities.
Supervisory Duties
- Ensures that SOP’s and Grooming standards are adhered to by all staff, that the spa and fitness facilities maintain impeccable presentation and a high standard of services is offered to the guests.
- Undertakes managerial duties as required, in the absence of the Spa Manager.
- Attends and/or conducts meetings.
- Ensures that spa policies, procedures, SOP’s and grooming standards are adhered to, and a high level of hygiene and safety is maintained in all areas of the spa.
Requirements
- EU citizen passport
- Degree in Aesthetics, Physiotherapy or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in 5* hotels.
- Computer literacy, including Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Atlantis spa software is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language. A second language will be considered a plus.
