Responsibilities

- Planning and execution of all required actions for the issuance of permits of fiber optic network projects

- Collection of all the necessary documents required by local authorities

- Network Design: Develop detailed FTTH network designs, including fiber routes, splice plans, and equipment placement. 

- GIS Mapping: Utilize GIS software to create accurate network maps and documentation. 

- Capacity Planning: Perform network capacity analysis and ensure designs meet current and future demand. 

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards. 

- Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design plans with construction schedules and project goals. 

- Site Surveys: Conduct site surveys to gather data and assess the feasibility of network deployments. 

- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and validate network designs to ensure reliability and performance. 

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, telecommunications, or another related technical field

- Excellent hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD or other similar design and visualization software

- Advanced MS Office skills

- Knowledge of GIS is considered a plus

- Previous working experience in permits department in fiber optics network projects is considered a plus
