Wavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations. We are looking for an experienced individual as a Chief Engineer to join the award-winning 5* Atlantica Imperial Hotel in Rhodes island for the season 2025.

The Chief Engineer oversees engineering projects, manages teams, and ensures the successful execution of engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the engineering teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs, schedules, and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections of the hotel facilities and equipment to identify and address any maintenance issues
• Coordinate with other departments to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks
• Oversee and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
• Understanding of budgeting processes and cost control measures to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Manage and maintain proper inventory levels of spare parts and supplies
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's engineering strategy.

 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar maintenance management role within the hospitality industry
• Extensive experience in engineering roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges and make critical decisions.
• Fluent in English
• Awareness of and adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
