Join Our Team as an Art Director at Alter Ego Media!

Alter Ego Media is on the lookout for a talented individual to join our Commercial team as an Art Director. If you have at least 3 years of experience in designing digital media campaigns, native content or publisher solutions for clients and remain hungry in learning new media and what it can do at a campaign level, we want to hear from you!

Position: Designer

This role reports to the group’s Digital Commercial Director and is instrumental in growing Alter Ego Media’s revenue from all clients (and especially key accounts).

Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive digital media campaigns for our clients (native, content, digital media), that will meet their KPIs.
• Independent thinking, drive, energy, and enthusiasm — a team player who takes the initiative.
• Provide conceptual designs and possess the capability to flesh them out across a range of executions.
• Partner with copywriters and creative staff to concept and solve client problems/projects and create outstanding proposals and presentations.
• Create compelling art and design that activates desired target audiences toward our clients’ business goals.
• Maintain best practices for file and server management, including the consistent application of naming conventions, file/folder organization, versioning control, and more.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting mutually agreed deadlines.
• Possess a positive attitude when working with colleagues, associates, and clients. Be solutions-oriented and supportive in finding solutions to unexpected challenges/requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 3+ years of experience with an advertising or design company or publisher and a track record that exhibits great work.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates design and art direction expertise, originality, innovation, problem-solving, and personal expression.
• Work examples should prove you’ve solved business problems. While we expect you to make beautiful things, your work must also be effective at solving a client’s business problems.
• Proficiency in the entire Adobe Creative Suite and any additional design/art direction tools. Motion Graphics and Generative AI tools a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, pay attention to detail, set priorities, utilize resources, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
