The Kid’s Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our youngest guests have a memorable and delightful stay. This position requires a passion for creating magical moments for children and families, as well as exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a talented team of childcare staff, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and ready to deliver exceptional service.
- Staff Scheduling: Develop and manage schedules to maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios while keeping operations smooth.
Welcome and Engage:
- Greet and welcome little guests and their families upon arrival.
- Create a warm and friendly atmosphere, ensuring a positive first impression for young visitors.
Tailored Services:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate amenities and services for children, including welcome gifts, activity kits, and special treats.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that rooms are child-friendly and equipped with necessary items.
Activity Planning:
- Organize and oversee a variety of engaging activities for children within the hotel premises.
- Plan and execute special events for children, such as birthday celebrations and themed parties.
Education and Entertainment:
- Collaborate with educational programs and entertainers to provide enriching experiences for young guests.
- Ensure that in-room entertainment options are suitable for children and adhere to the highest standards of safety.
Safety and Security:
- Implement safety protocols to create a secure environment for little guests.
- Train staff on child safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
Communication:
- Maintain open and transparent communication with parents to understand their needs and preferences for their children's stay.
- Act as a liaison between the hotel and families to address any concerns or special requests.
Qualifications:
- Childcare or education-related certifications.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Understanding of child safety and child-friendly service standards.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be considered accordingly.
- Exceptional communication (both verbal and written), negotiation and administrative skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manage workload using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multitask position.
- Availability to work in shifts.
