The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Deputy Training Engineer”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will report to the Training Engineer of the Training Department, based in Mavres Petres.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with functional areas to analyze training needs and determine if learning solutions address performance gaps.
- Develop and review training curricula and tools for functional skills with internal teams.
- Review content from consultants and partners to ensure consistency in quality and methodology.
- Assist in preparing and updating the annual training plan with department managers.
- Schedule and track training and assessments, creating reports on outcomes.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and its impact on skills and KPIs.
- Deliver structured learning experiences and monitor quality results.
- Maintain accurate training records for employees and contractors.
- Stay updated on industry standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Design training materials like presentations, manuals, and interactive modules.
- Apply instructional design principles to create engaging and effective content.
- Conduct training sessions through various formats, including online and in-person.
- Assess training program effectiveness and adjust based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to align training with organizational goals.
- Ensure training complies with regulations, industry standards, and quality processes.
- Manage trainers to align with training needs, plans, and frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical Certification in the relevant field (e.g., Fixed Plant Maintenance, Electrical and Instrumentation, Welding, Mobile Equipment Maintenance, Underground Operations, Open Pit Operations, Processing, or Safety & Compliance)
- 3-5 years of experience as a Training Specialist or similar role.
- Experience in development and implementation of training programs in field of expertise.
- 1-2 years of experience with designing and implementing training programs is a plus.
- Certified Professional in Training Management is a plus.
- Certifications in Industrial Safety, preferable.
- Deep knowledge in specific technical fields (e.g., software engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, etc.).
- Outstanding knowledge of learning theories and training methodologies.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and public speaking.
- Strong teamwork abilities. In-depth knowledge of staff learning and assessment protocol.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database software.
