On behalf of our client, a leading company in the Beverage Manufacturing industry, we are looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager to join the distillery’s team and be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient operation of all distillery equipment.

 Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company's infrastructure equipment, investigating and addressing technical problems and developing performance improvement strategies.
• Compose the report of the technical department on a daily basis.
• Operate and stand responsible for the operation of the steam plant, air plant, pumping stations, etc.
• Responsible for the development and training of the staff of the technical department.
• Monitor technological developments to improve systems and infrastructure and reduce costs and delays.
• Proposal and implementation of the distillery's investment program.
• Budget preparation for maintenance or needs improvement of the existing electromechanical installations, as well as for the required personnel to cover needs on an annual and monthly basis.
• Recommend mechanical equipment supply, spare parts, consumables related to its scope as well as infrastructure improvement works (production, peripheral and vehicle).
• Promote the safety and hygiene of the department and the areas of responsibility.
• Coordinate and supervise the staff of the technical department, evaluates the quality and performance of technical work and improves processes in the area of responsibility.
• Cooperate closely with the supervising authorities and ensure the timely validation of all required permits and documents. Adhere to all required procedures to ensure that the company is fully compliant with the law.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master’s degree will be considered a strong asset
• Issuance of a License to Practice the Profession of Mechanical Engineer
• A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in a similar role
• Experience in maintenance and construction with strong mechanical and electrological perception
• Strong knowledge of distillery operations, equipment, and maintenance practices
• Familiarity with safety regulations, industry standards and quality control procedures
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and industrial design programs
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent command of the English language, both in written and oral communication
