Reliability Engineer (Mobile Equipment & Fixed Plant)

The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of ‘Reliability Engineer (Mobile Equipment & Fixed Plant)’, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Asset Management Manager in Skouries.

Main Responsibilities:

·      Carry out reliability and maintenance engineering functions in accordance with the Eldorado Asset Management System.

·      Be a site leader in the promotion of reliability throughout the organization.

·      Contribute to the review, development and implementation of systems, processes and procedures that identify improvements to equipment performance and overall sustainability of equipment life cycle.

·      Review and update maintenance strategies and tactics using RCM and FMECA methodologies including PM optimization.

·      Ownership of the asset performance reporting system and processes, including data review and management.

·      Key stakeholder in the asset condition monitoring program, including input into the asset health program.

·      Assist maintenance technicians with condition monitoring expertise.

·      Coordinate external condition monitoring and/or NDT resources as required.

·      Utilize root cause analysis, asset management system, BI and Microsoft suite software for analysis and reporting.

·      Utilize downtime capture software systems to support defect elimination processes.

·      Lead defect elimination investigations and effectively manage the assigned failure's/defects. Including defect assessment/prioritization, RCA facilitation, action assignment and change management.

·      Provide the mine department with engineering troubleshooting & mentoring either directly or by coordinating the input of engineering specialists.

·      Be a change agent, in identifying and promoting operational changes and improvements.

·      Identify and manage improvement projects to deliver value to the operations.

·      Work closely with maintenance planners to identify and develop standard maintenance activities.

·      Assist in development of long-range asset management schedules and budgets.

·      Communicate key asset management performance indicators as well as the companies’ KPIs.

·      Prepare periodic and activity-based reports for reliability activities and programs.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical, electrical or mining.

·      Post graduate experience in reliability and/or maintenance engineering will be considered a plus.

·      5+ years in an engineering role in mining or similar heavy industry, working with heavy mobile equipment.

·      2+ years’ experience as a reliability or maintenance engineer.

·      Experience using Asset management/maintenance modules of an ERP, ideally SAP.

·      Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

·      Experience executing reliability improvement projects.

·      Strong understanding and experience of reliability engineering principles, tools and techniques applied to mobile equipment.

·      Equipment management strategy development skills using FMECA and defect elimination processes.

·      Committed to safety and continuous improvement.

·      English proficiency level B2 or greater.

·      Driving License.
