The Fit Out & Renovation Architect - Malls as a key member of our team, will contribute to architectural projects by preparing designs, creating 3D visuals, overseeing construction phases, and managing store fit-outs.

His/her attention to detail and compliance with regulations will be essential. As a Fit out & Renovation Architect, Malls, you will work closely with the Center Management, the Fit Out and Renovation team, the Malls Engineers, and the Leasing Department. 

The Fit Out & Renovation Architect, Malls will be reporting to the Senior Architect, Malls.

Indicatively, the Fit Out and Renovation Architect, Malls, will be responsible for the following tasks:

1.Store Fit-Out and Renovation:

• Communicate with prospect store operators and engineers.

• Coordinate meetings with store operators and design/construction teams.

• Brief shopkeepers and engineers regarding the technical details, requirements, and procedures of the Shopping Center.

• Ensure that contractual obligations are met during Fit-Out period of store units.

• Collect and review all relevant drawings and documents and provide feedback on proposed store plans.

• Ensure that proposed store layouts design meet legislation, building regulations and Shopping Center standards.

• Overlook licensing procedures of restaurants, kiosks, cinemas & offices.

• Overlook the renovation of store units, identify problems and coordinate communication for timely resolution of any technical matters.

• Ensure contractors comply in all respects with Health and Safety requirements.

• Prepare Store Plans for collaboration proposals.

• Coordinate and execute Area Release and Area Handover of store units.

• Handle Store Occupations and prepare reports for internal use.

• Build Up Marketing Plans.

• Draft proposals / presentations, where cooperation of architectural nature is needed.

2.Architectural Design, 3D Visualizations and Supervision:

• Prepare architectural designs for assigned projects.

• Create 3D renderings and visuals to communicate design concepts for the enhancement of the existing Shopping Centers.

• Review construction progress during renovations of shopping malls.

3.Document Preparation and Compliance:

• Prepare necessary documents based on building permits for external & internal evaluation/use.

• Become familiar with local regulations and compliance requirements.

• Contact with the technical advisors of our buildings regarding new requests that come up

You will be a successful candidate for our opening, if you can identify yourself with the following criteria: 

Academic Qualifications:

• BSc in Architecture is a must.

• Excellent command of AutoCAD, Rhino (or similar 3D design tools), Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Very Good knowledge in English, any additional language is considered as a plus.

 Professional Experience & Job Specific Skills:

• Proven working experience as an architect of 5 years (please attach your portfolio).
• Knowledge of Greece’s Building Codes and legislation and Regulations in Fire Prevention (NOK).
• Proven experience in interior design projects is considered a plus.
• Construction site experience is considered a plus.
