We are looking for a Lead Electrical Technician (Workshop) who will be responsible for overseeing the assembly, testing, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems within MAS Europe’s workshop. This role involves coordinating the work of junior technicians, maintaining high standards in quality and safety, and ensuring that all systems meet MAS Europe’s rigorous requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Workshop Management: Supervise and direct workshop activities, ensuring project deadlines, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols are met.
- Electrical Assembly & Maintenance: Lead the assembly, wiring, and installation of electrical systems for projects related to power plants, heavy industry, and maritime applications.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct comprehensive tests to ensure system functionality, diagnose faults, and implement necessary repairs with precision.
- Documentation & Reporting: Document assembly and testing procedures, produce technical reports on system performance, and update maintenance logs.
- Team Leadership: Train and mentor junior technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety and quality standards. Develop their skills in technical and troubleshooting tasks.
- Safety and Compliance: Oversee compliance with Greek/EU safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe and hazard-free workspace.
Requirements :
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a recognized technical certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial or power system electrical workshop, with hands-on experience in electrical assembly and testing.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostic tools, and automation.
- Familiarity with Greek/EU safety and compliance standards for industrial environments.
- Proven ability to lead a team, excellent organizational skills, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and availability to travel as required for projects and client meetings.
