The Senior BIM Coordinator is responsible for the set-up, ongoing maintenance, and issuance of all BIM projects company wide.
Position Summary
The Senior BIM Coordinator, BIM Services Group is a trusted senior member of the BIM services group, and responsible for the set-up, ongoing maintenance, and issuance of all BIM projects company wide. Reporting to the Assistant BIM Manager, BIM Services Group, Production, the Senior BIM Coordinator is instrumental with the implementation of project set-ups, updates, and issuances, with the upkeep of departmental standards, and drives the execution of project scanning, filing, and archiving. The Senior BIM Coordinator also plays a key role in supporting the department’s function as a training center for employees.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience and/or 4-year degree in engineering, architecture, or similar industry.
- Eager to support staff with a positive attitude, passion, and patience.
- Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Proactive approach to learning new technology software.
- Advanced interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Utilize skills to fit the IT infrastructure and standards as necessary.
- Knowledge of design:
- Revit 2019-2024
- AutoCAD 2022
- Navisworks: Freedom and Manage
- BIM 360
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of design industry workflows, production cycle and priorities.
- Must be able to manage strict timelines with multiple projects to meet deadlines under high-pressure environment.
