ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client a company that offers comprehensive transport solutions, is seeking a Quality Inspector for the company’s projects based in Volos.

🖋️You will be reporting to: Quality Manager

Responsibilities:

• Inspection of the production process and completion of work in compliance with procedures and standards.
• Ensuring that inspections and tests are conducted according to inspection and test plans.
• Managing non-conformities and issuing relevant reports.
• Performing root cause analysis (RCA) for continuous improvement.
• Supporting internal and random customer audits.
• Receiving and inspecting incoming materials.
• Conducting internal quality checks on critical processes (welding, bolt tightening, painting, etc.).
• Accompanying the customer representative during predefined inspection points.
• Ensuring that all issues are resolved before commissioning the modernized trains.
• Collecting all inspection records and ensuring staff training.

Requirements:

• Degree Engineering.

• Minimum two years' experience in quality control activities in high demanding industries such as but not limited to: aeronautic, renewables, automotive or rolling stock.
• SAP Quality Management module (valued).
• Non-destructive test inspector (valued).
• Knowledge on different methodologies for root cause analysis.
• Experience in train or railway maintenance will be considered an asset

• Fluency in English language Spanish is also valued. 

• Availability for short trips to audit suppliers will be valued, it will be necessary to work in two shifts.
