ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a dynamic and growing company in the photovoltaic sector, is looking for an Mechanical Engineer – Photovoltaic Projects to join their team.
📌 Location: Acharnai, Greece
🖋️ Reports to: Project Director
Scope of the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to manage the full EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) lifecycle of projects, from system design and material procurement to installation and commissioning. The role also covers Operations & Maintenance (O&M), ensuring the continuous performance and efficiency of completed installations.
What you will do
- Design and optimize mechanical systems using specialized software.
- Record and evaluate project measurements in the corresponding system.
- Prepare technical and financial proposals for engineering projects.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost control.
- Plan and oversee project execution, ensuring alignment between procurement schedules and construction timelines.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of completed projects (O&M).
- Occasionally conduct on-site visits when necessary.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in photovoltaic or renewable energy projects.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Pvsyst, 4MCAD) and procurement tools (Softone) is preferred.
- Expertise in Procurement systems, and MS Office.
- Ability to prepare financial reports and forecasts.
- Knowledge of English

- Strong organizational, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects effectively.
