Your ‘day to day’

  • Develop and implement Sustainability strategies and programs, in accordance with the corporate Principles and Practices, legal requirements and recognized best practices, to prevent injury, damage to the environment, and minimize the business impact of foreseeable losses
  • Continually improve the system and propose solutions based on audit results, incident investigations, business, and process changes
  • Implement the Sustainability activities and plans, by giving advice to the management team and continuously seek to raise the awareness of both management and staff
  • Execute a proactive loss prevention program including risk management, inspections, audits, and emergency planning, by monitoring their implementation to eliminate or reduce health, safety, and environmental risks to an acceptable level
  • Develop and implement relative training modules, by analyzing the training needs, and maintaining training records of employees, contractors, and visitors, to ensure full alignment with the Sustainability aspects with respect to their job and responsibilities
  • Provide timely reporting of Sustainability performance indicators to factory management and cluster
  • Coordinate the accident investigation according to Sustainability Incident Management (SIM) through IPS/UPS analysis, reporting and maintain records of all incident/accident information accordingly, to allow Sustainability Department and Management to identify basic causes and take actions to prevent the incident to occur again.
  • Keep abreast with the latest Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental regulatory requirement and the latest technology on the prevention, control, to give advice and direction to the organization in meeting legal and company requirement.

Who we’re looking for

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, MBA in sustainability or related field will be considered an asset
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in an environmental field in a manufacturing environment with a detailed understanding of legal requirements and applicable standards
  • Experience in working or implementing with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001
  • Proficient in the use of incident investigation, problem-solving methodologies, and countermeasures’ implementation
  • Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills, ability to handle multiple tasks while making decision
  • Professional experience in leading and managing projects will be highly appreciated
  • Advanced problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to present complex concepts across the organization and make data-driven decisions
  • Fluent in English and in Greek (speaking and writing)
