We are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor. The role’s main responsibilities focused on delivering high quality health and safety consultancy services to GEP client at Athens (Marousi).

Main activities and responsibilities involve:

• Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
• Prepare and enforce, procedures, guidelines and policies to establish a culture of health and safety
• Daily inspection of health and safety issues in facilities’ workplaces and prevention of occupational accidents.
• On the spot site inspections to overview the implementation of health and safety measures and support working teams.
• Identification and reporting occupational risks in the workplace
• Selection and supervision of the correct use of personal protective equipment.
• Involvement and training of employees in occupational health and safety issues
• Evaluation of the training material and proposals for content updating
• Evaluate adequacy and maintain up to date employees, and contractors equipment  and employees safety documentation, permits and licenses
• Monitoring and evaluation of all safety KPIs
• Assess compliance with applicable current health and safety legislation

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Health & Safety positions in industrial facilities
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
• Good knowledge of MS Office for data collection and reporting
• Excellent knowledge of English (verbal & written)
