MISSION

Financial Management: Monitoring and managing all the company's accounting processes, including bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, and cash management.

Compliance and Audits: Ensuring the company complies with applicable tax and accounting regulations. Preparing for audits and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and monitoring budgets and financial forecasts. Analyzing variances between forecasts and actual results and providing recommendations for improvement.

Team Management: Supervising and guiding the accounting team, providing training and support to team members to ensure efficiency and accuracy in their work.

Financial Analysis and Reporting: Creating detailed financial reports and analyzing financial data to assist management in making strategic decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Chief Accountant are as follows:

Preparation of Financial Statements: Drafting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with tax, legal, and accounting regulations, as well as with the company's internal policies.

Management of Tax Obligations: Filing tax returns, managing VAT and other tax obligations of the company, and keeping track of changes in tax legislation.

Internal Controls and Procedures: Implementing and improving internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Participating in the creation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts, assisting in the analysis of financial results.

Team Training and Guidance: Supervising the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and feedback to improve their performance.

Relations with External Partners: Managing relationships with external partners, such as auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
SKILLS
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A postgraduate degree or professional certifications (such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, MBA) are desirable.
- 5-10 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 2-3 years in a senior management role.
- Excellent understanding of local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
- Ability to lead and manage a team of accountants.
- Proficiency in ERP software, SAP, and advanced Excel tools
