Senior Accountant

Qualifications

• At least three (3) to five (5) years of work experience as an accountant
• BSc in Accounting
• MSc in Accounting, Finance or in a similar field will be considered an asset
• Class A’ certification holder from the ECG (Economic Chamber of Greece)
• Strong knowledge of Greek accounting legislation
• Experience in IFRS reporting
• Experience in Mydata platform
• Proficient user of MS Office

Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements
• Bookkeeping
• Delegation of work to assistant accountants
• Preparing VAT return
• Preparing the yearly budget
• Coordinating accounting functions and programs
• Preparing financial analyses and reports
• Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure
• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
