Role Summary:

The suitable candidate will serve the major financial accounting areas, including the accounts payable desk, general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fact-checking and filing. This is a junior/mid level position. The role reports to the Head of Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document registration, customer-supplier agreements
• Invoicing of credit and cash customers
• Overseeing payment process for suppliers and expenses in compliance with internal processes and policies
• Regularly running and analyzing monthly and annual reports
• Verify the layout of tax documents, ensuring all transactions are accurately submitted to the MyData platform to meet regulatory standards.
• Ensures adherence to company’s policies and procedures
• Cash flow reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Economics or relevant field
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting with double-entry books
• Solid experience and process understanding in accounting practices
• Good knowledge of Greek GAAP
• Very good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook)
• Very good knowledge of SoftOne software is desirable and will be considered a plus
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Good communication and teamwork skills. Politeness is a must
• Excellent analytical mindset with attention to detail
• A professional who demonstrates responsibility and consistency
• Military Obligations completed (if applicable)
