Position: Financial & Business Analyst

Position Type: Full time, permanent.

Location: Athens, Acharnes

 Responsibilities & Duties

  • Monthly Sales and Profitability (P&L) Analysis by product category, channel and customer versus plans and previous year, and presentation of deviations
  • Business partnering with company’s divisions such as sales, logistics, marketing for inter-departmental projects
  • Support in the preparation of the Company's financial results monthly, quarterly & annually
  • Assist in preparation of business documents and presentations for the management team and the entire team such as: profit & loss statements, balance sheet, accounts payable, accounts receivable, statement cash flows etc.
  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement
  • Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
  • Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
  • Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management
  • Demonstrable ability to translate data or/and facts into executable and effective reports

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience as financial or/and business analyst
  • Experience with financial reporting, such as forecasts, budgets, and planning
  • Excel skills (advanced)
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and BI reporting tools is considered an asset
  • Excellent command of Greek and English language, both verbal and written

  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and numbers and recommend action.
