Costa Navarino is looking for a Cost Controller. This critical role involves overseeing and optimizing financial performance by monitoring and analyzing costs, ensuring budgetary compliance, and contributing to informed decision-making within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cost control systems to monitor and report project expenses.
- Perform cost analyses and prepare regular financial reports, identifying variances from budgets.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast budgets and provide financial insights.
- Ensure proper allocation of costs and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Monitor and control project budgets, highlighting potential overruns and proposing corrective actions.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Provide recommendations to enhance cost efficiency and overall profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or in a similar senior financial role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, cost analysis, and budgeting techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software (experience with ERP systems is an advantage, specifically SAP / S4HANA / SAP MM Module).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
