Job Description:

Responsible for a wide range of activities within the accounting department. Duties will involve managing all financial transactions from internal and external stakeholders, financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and efficient management of all financial operations of the hotel.

Applicant’s main accountabilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
• Assist in the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Ensure compliance with Greek legislation and tax regulations, including preparation and submission of VAT.
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure they align with the budget.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and support strategic business decisions.

Applicant’s main qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field will be considered an additional asset.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent knowledge of English (both spoken and written).
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), as well as the "Business" information system by Epsilon Net.
• Experience in using the platform "My Data".
