Avis Greece is on the hunt for an exceptional Financial Planning & Analysis Controller who will be responsible for preparing reports to support business needs and suggesting recommendations for improvement. Reporting to the Financial Planning Manager, you will examine actual and budget figures for completeness, accuracy and compliance with procedures and regulations and you will analyze budgeting and accounting reports in order to maintain expenditure controls.

🎯 Your Mission:
- Support in Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly closing process & assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports (full P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow), providing key financial & business metrics.
- Assist in conducting variance analysis to explain the differences between the budget or forecast and actual performance, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement & ensuring in depth analysis of business and finance drivers.
- Preparation and analysis of current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenues, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures and Balance Sheet.
- Supporting the preparation of the company’s annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and strategic plan.
- Proficiently utilize planning tools to input and extract relevant data, producing high-quality reports.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of reconciliation processes and proc.
Requirements
🌟 What Spells Success: Your Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Professional qualification or an MBA or Master will be considered an asset.
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Finance, Reporting, or Controlling departments.
- Time management and ability to work under strict deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, with strong analytical skills developed through finance education and a good grasp of both financial & reporting processes and systems.
- Computer literate with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including writing macros, creating Power pivot tables, Power Queries. Familiarity in creating reports & Dashboards with Data Visualization tools like Power BI would be a plus.
