Responsibilities

As the CFO you will have to:

• Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team

• Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders

• Develop and implement financial planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making at the executive level
• Effectively handle financial challenges and take decisive actions to safeguard the company’s financial stability
• Lead the annual budget planning process and oversee forecasting to ensure financial goals are met
• Supervise cash flow planning, payment prioritization, and financial obligations to ensure liquidity and stability
• Evaluate funding opportunities, financing solutions, and cost-benefit scenarios for potential investments or loans
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate reporting
• Coordinate and manage the completion of annual audits

• Ensure all tax/fiscal local requirements aligned with regulations

Qualifications

The most suitable candidate for the CFO position should have:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 15-year work experience, preferably with 2 years’ experience in a similar position in an executive committee capacity
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Holder of Class A License
• Very good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards and IFRS.
• Very good knowledge of Greek laws for taxes, income taxes, stamp taxes and inter-company transactions
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop colleagues
• Be innovative, financially savvy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• People Management Skills
• Well versed with technology, which helps Finance to take it to the next level
• Excellent communication skills in English Excellent computer skills, experience with ERP software and MS Office.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant
