Join our international team as a Reservations Manager.
Role Description
Reservations Manager responsibilities include:
- Answer phones and assist customers in making, altering, or canceling reservations
- Respond to emails with reservation information, confirmations, and additional details
- Ensure that all customer inquiries are handled timely, efficiently, and with care
- Allocate daily tasks to Reservations Department
- Handle pre-payment for F&B reservations and special events bookings if needed
- Be fully aware at all times of the rates, packages, groups, and booking status of the restaurant
- Maintain effective office administrative procedures within the department that will safeguard and detect double-bookings, non-guaranteed bookings, filing errors, and other inaccuracies
Qualifications
- Proven 4 years of work experience as a Reservations Manager in upscale, high-end restaurant or hotel
- Excellent Knowledge of English. Knowledge of additional foreign languages will be considered as an advantage
- Outstanding attention to detail, encouraging a culture of high standards throughout the team
- Experience of working in a highly customer focused service delivery role
- Ability to work independently, as well as lead, manage, and motivate a team
- Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
- Degree in Hospitality/Tourism is an asset.
