Your main responsibilities
Prepare a Variety of Baked Goods: This includes cakes, cookies, pies, bread, and other pastries.
Create new desserts to keep the menu fresh and engaging for guests.
Use different icings, toppings, and techniques to ensure beautiful presentation.
Monitor and order ingredients, supplies, and equipment to ensure everything is fresh and available..
Ensure that all baking equipment is in good working order and properly maintained.
Guide and train kitchen employees, especially those working in the pastry section.
Adhere to sanitation and food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
What will you bring?
Pastry degree or certificate from a vocational school.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
Fluency in English (verbal).
Teamwork-oriented with leadership abilities.
