Wavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations. We are looking for an experienced and talented individual for the role of Hotel Manager for the award-winning 5* Atlantica Beach Resort Hotel in Kos island.
The Hotel manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a hotel, ensuring the satisfaction of guests, and managing the staff. You'll be the driving force behind creating a welcoming atmosphere that exceeds guest expectations, from the first impression to the last.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing and maintaining rigorous hygiene standards.
- Uphold company policies and procedures to create a safe and enjoyable environment for both guests and staff.
- Develop and manage the hotel's budget, allocating resources effectively to meet financial goals.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
- Stay abreast of industry trends and customer preferences to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
- Lead by example, setting the standard for impeccable service. Work closely with the front-of-house team to create a seamless and memorable experience for the guests.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff for continuous improvement.
- Creating innovative services both for hotel and entertainment services offers an exciting opportunity to enhance the guest experience and create new revenue streams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a hotel manager or similar role
- Ability to analyze financial reports and food costing, manage budgets, understand procedures, and make decisions to optimize profitability
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in English with an excellent command of the language
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office
