HR Manager - Recruitment, Performance Management, Reporting Manager

Reports to Country HR Director 

Job Summary

Responsible for designing and or implementing programs and activities associated with Recruitment, Performance Management, Reporting, and Succession related to human resources programs and activities on a local or a global basis. Reports directly to the Country HR Director and assists him in all aspects in relation to Succession plans.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process for the country, ensuring high-quality orientation programs for new hires.
  • Collaborate with the L&D specialist to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new employees.
  • Manage the employee exit interview process, conducting interviews, analyzing data, and making actionable recommendations based on findings.
  • Attract talent and organize job postings for Hellenic Duty Free Shops, Hellenic Distributions, and Autogrill. Utilize LinkedIn, Indeed, Kariera, the global internal platform, and other social media channels to attract candidates.
  • Exclusively conduct all interviews at Athens International Airport (AIA) and headquarters (HQ). Provide counsel to Store Managers on candidate selection for other stores across Greece.
  • Communicate with all Store and Department Managers regarding new hires.
  • Negotiate and assist the HR Director in finalizing offer letters and employment processes for new hires, promotions, salary/location/position changes, and the distribution of decision letters.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and company organizational charts.
  • Serve as the primary contact for communication with the global HR team.
  • Implement the Company Performance Management Program in coordination with the Global HR/HR systems team, ensuring accurate personnel information in SuccessFactors.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to ensure the implementation of activities agreed upon during the Performance Management Program.
  • Ensure consistent application of all company HR policies and procedures.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale-building initiatives.
  • Support departments in developing and delivering strategic HR plans that align with the overall business direction.
  • Research and present wellbeing and wellness programs for employees to the HR Director.
  • Prepare and deliver periodic HR reports, both globally and locally, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Support the preparation of the monthly/yearly HR Budget, including Wages & Salaries and other personnel expenses.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of personal information at all times.
  • Assist the Country HR Director with any projects as requested.
  • Join and organize marketing campaigns initiated by the company to attract candidates.

Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Sociology or any related field.
  • Master degree in Human Resource Management.
  • Fluent in Greek and English language, both written and verbally (Proficiency level).
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public; apply general principles effectively to specific conditions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, review, and evaluate the work of subordinate staff engaged in the various professional, technical and administrative functions.
  • Excellent organizational, management and organizational skills.
  • Develop a positive working environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
  • Good Knowledge of the Payroll Software HRMS.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office especially MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Deep understanding of Greek regulations related to HR. 

Experience Required

  • A proven track record of at least 7 years’ experience in Human Recourses roles in a multinational company.
  • Prior experience at least 4 years as an HR Manager.
  • Experience in retail industry.
