Job Overview:
The HR Manager is responsible for providing professional human resources and administrative support and services to Medwork’s, staff and management team. S/he will be in charge of all the processes around recruitment, staff care and wellbeing, act as the focal point for internal complaining mechanism, staff development, plans when necessary staff appraisals and all other related HR issues.
This position will ensure that the HR policies and administrative practices enable Medwork to work in an effective, efficient and consistent manner in compliance with Medwork’s procedures and Labour law regulations.
The HR Manager will work closely with the General Manager.
Core Responsibilities:
- Performance Management: Develop and implement systems to improve and evaluate employee performance.
- Employee Relations: Address and resolve workplace issues, maintain a positive work environment, and manage conflict resolution. Acts as the HR focal point for staff; provide accurate and timely information on HR issues and offer advice on HR policies and procedures.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Create and enforce HR policies to guide best practices in the workplace.
- Training and Development: Organize training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth and develop HR-related training materials.
- Workforce Planning: Strategically plan and implement an optimal workforce talent grid based on employee characteristics and business goals.
- Employee Engagement: Develop strategies to boost employee satisfaction and retention.
- Recruitment and Staffing: Identify staffing needs, attract, hire, and onboard the right talent.
- Compliance with Labor Laws: Ensure the company is aware of and complies with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Employee Records Management: Oversee payroll, benefits, and HR information systems.
Requirements:
- University degree or higher in Human Resources, Business administration or similar degree
- At least 4 years of experience in an HR role.
- Proficiency in English and digital tools.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adhere to strict timelines.
- Competence in promoting and enhancing interpersonal skills across all company levels.
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Diploma in HR management, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Psychology, or Behavioural Psychology.
- Experience in an international environment.
