Business Applications Specialist

Role

Provide functional support on all business applications in the company’s portfolio, handling demand for improvements, and prioritization for implementation, with a focus on Business Process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Collects business requirements and maps these to functional and technical design
  • Conducts business process analysis, develops functional specifications and data mapping, and conducts prototyping and system configuration
  • Meets with users to define problems and evaluate solutions
  • Prepares all information needed to clarify the data structure and provides specifications to developers
  • Designs and implements the UI and security role for each specific role
  • Ensures Key User testing of software for accuracy and problem resolution
  • Oversees customization, integration, data conversion, enhancements, modifications to ERP packages and new functionality delivered via version upgrades.
  • Supports at second level applications, engaging in incident and problem management, mentoring first level support agents team regarding applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience working in a business application specialist role.
  • Excellent command of English and Greek languages
  • Analytical and numerical thinking
  • Detail oriented
  • Team player

Experience with

  • ERP implementation, configuration, or support
  • Use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP / Finance & Operations, or AX is obligatory
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV
  • Microsoft Cloud (Power platform)
  • LS/NAV
