GOFERRY is a leading online ferry booking system, operating worldwide since 2007. Currently, our team develops online ferry booking systems for end users and B2B applications.
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will join our experienced development team. You get to work with the latest technologies in .NET and Front End UI Frameworks, delivering state-of-the-art, modern booking systems to our worldwide users. In your new role with GOFFERY, you will be tasked with providing technical leadership on large-scale .NET & Vue projects. Your responsibilities include keeping your agile team productive, helping everyone focus on the correct problems with proper mentoring, and assisting your team members in assessing and overcoming project risks. You will remain active in project technical aspects by writing and reviewing code, but mentoring others and understanding the bigger picture is your mission.
Requirements
● Mastery of object orientation with design patterns
● Experienced in API development using Swagger / OpenAPI / SOAP
● Familiarity with relational databases and queries
● Experience with Vue.js development
● Have participated in developing large, custom-built object-oriented applications
● Familiarity with debugging and production incident investigation
● Experienced in Agile project lifecycle, incl. Git and DevOps practices
● Experienced in Agile Theory and practice
● Be responsible for the smooth operation and monitoring of the systems the team owns
● Be responsible for the performance of your team members, and their regular evaluation
● A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in similar technologies is required for this position
● Fluency in English is a must.
