We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Technical Support Engineer (DBA) to help maintain smooth database operations for our clients. In this role, you will assist with troubleshooting, installations, upgrades, and providing essential database services, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility for end-users.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in troubleshooting basic database issues.
• Communicate with customers to understand the technical problem they are facing.
• Use remote access to connect to customer systems and help resolve issues.
• Support the installation, implementation, and upgrades of DBMS systems.
• Help ensure databases are protected against data loss by following procedures and policies.
• Contribute to reporting on database usage and performance.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the ITIL framework.
• 0-3 years of technical support experience.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Basic knowledge of databases, particularly SQL Server or SAP Sybase ASE (certification is a plus).
• Awareness of middleware technologies (e.g., IIS, Tomcat).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Fluency in both Greek and English languages.
