We are looking for a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to oversee our IT infrastructure, which is primarily based on Windows systems but also includes Linux, Citrix, Docker, and Kubernetes. The successful candidate will work closely with the System Engineering team to ensure our infrastructure is secure, high-performing, and reliable. This role is critical in supporting business operations through optimized system management, security enforcement, and technical innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize Windows server environments to ensure stability, security, and performance.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes for streamlined application delivery.
• Administer Citrix and RDS environments to support remote and virtual desktop services.
• Oversee Linux server operations as needed, including configuration and maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
• Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, IDS, and vulnerability assessments.
• Automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Perform system backups, data integrity checks, and ensure robust disaster recovery protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, assessing their potential benefit for our infrastructure.
• Provide technical expertise, mentoring, and support to IT team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and patch management.
• Proficiency in managing Citrix and RDS or similar virtualized environments.
• Familiarity with Linux administration (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG).
• Comprehensive understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and system security.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) to drive automation.
• Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure; cloud experience is beneficial.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA/MCSE, Docker Certified Associate, Citrix Certified Professional, CompTIA) are a plus.
