ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, an innovative Software Development and Integrated ICT Solutions in Greece, is seeking for a ICT Project Manager – Public Sector to join their team.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing projects that enhance digital capabilities and efficiencies, contributing to significant advancements in the public sector. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage project teams comprising internal and external collaborators.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and address any issues that may arise.
  • Oversee and continuously monitor budget, costs, invoicing, and resource allocation (personnel, equipment, technology).
  • Develop detailed project schedules and deliverables lists, tracking progress through appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Manage technical and operational issues that emerge during project implementation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
  • Draft and manage project documentation, including regular reports, correspondence, implementation studies, and phase deliverables.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing digital capabilities and public sector efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong technical background with an understanding of or hands-on experience in software development and ICT.
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / PM2 certification is desirable.
  • Developed organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization abilities, with the capability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility, teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
