Information Security Specialist

Necessary qualifications:

• BSc degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in information security roles (4+ years).
• Knowledge of information security best practices and relevant regulations.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
• Experience in Microsoft 365 related security products and services.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Very good Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent command of the English and Greek language (spoken & written).

Desired qualifications:

• MSc degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and strategies that align with industry best practices.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations, and managing incident responses.
• Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and create strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (i.e. GDPR, etc) and other relevant standards.
• Provide training and guidance to staff to ensure the understanding and adherence to security protocols.
• Coordinate security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
• Implement and manage security controls.
• Knowledge of hospitality & tourism business related processes and systems.
• Experience working collaboratively within an IT department and 3rd parties.
