Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Database Developer to join our database team. This role is ideal for someone eager to build their skills in database development, working alongside experienced developers to support and maintain our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Development: Assist in developing and maintaining database systems on MS SQL Server to support business applications, ensuring data is accurate and accessible.
• Data Analysis: Write and optimize basic SQL queries for data analysis and extraction with guidance from senior developers.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, especially SQL developers, to support application needs related to databases. Moreover, you will be able to participate in maintaining and new design of databases following methods of achieving high performance over large capacities of data.
• Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of database documentation, such as data dictionaries and schemas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or currently completing relevant coursework).
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and basic knowledge of SQL/T-SQL programming.
• Willingness to learn and good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts (beneficial but not required).
• Interest in cloud databases, such as Azure SQL Database, with a desire to learn.
