Key Areas of Responsibility
- Direct involvement in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for new manufacturing production systems. Specifically debug in-house and third-party software that manages production line’s components, such as cameras, power sensors, lasers, printers, etc.).
- Efficiently and effectively redesign and refactor proprietary automation and application software to keep it updated to new technologies and frameworks. Keep up to date with emerging technologies and formulating concepts and ideas for new products, tools and services.
- Handle software-related tickets reported during the production process and being able to troubleshoot in real time (debug automation and application).
Required skills
- University degree in Computer Science / Electrical / Electronic engineering or corresponding technology field.
- At least 2-year proved experience developing production level software with OOP languages C# and C++.
- Experience in .NET Framework/Core, WPF, Entity Framework, Unity, LINQ, Blazor.
- Experience in SQL and RDBMS (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle).
- Good knowledge and experience versioning tools, such as Git.
- Software CI/CD automation platforms, such as Jenkins and Gitlab.
- Ability to follow standard code practices and build reusable/extensible code and libraries.
- Basic embedded systems understanding. Experience with MCUs, preferably AVR.
- Experience with industrial automation systems.
- Basic electronic circuits understanding.
- Good knowledge of design patterns, such as Dependency Injection (DI), Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM).
- Experience in shell scripting and Linux OS administration.
