As part of its development Volton strengthens its human resources in Athens and seeks an IS Mobile Telephony Billing Analyst
We are seeking an IS Mobile Telephony Billing Analyst to be a foundational member of our team, contributing to the successful launch of mobile service offering. As part of this pivotal project, you will play a critical role in establishing and refining billing processes, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring a seamless customer billing experience from day one. Following the successful launch, you will continue as an integral team member, driving billing operations in a business-as-usual (BAU) capacity, enhancing processes, and maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement accurate billing processes for the upcoming mobile telephony service, including account setup, rating, invoicing, and service modifications
- Collaborate with project managers, IT, finance, vendors and customer experience teams to align billing processes with service launch timelines and goals
- Analyze, test, and validate billing data during system implementation phases to ensure accuracy and readiness for service launch
- Identify and troubleshoot billing discrepancies, escalating and resolving issues before the commercial launch
- Generate reports and provide insights related to expected billing performance, revenue forecasting, and customer usage patterns
- Contribute to system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and configuration of billing modules
- Transition to a business-as-usual mode post-launch, maintaining accurate and efficient billing processes, identifying areas for ongoing improvement, and driving continuous operational success
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in Billing Operations, ideally within the Telecommunications Industry
- Knowledge of Mobile Telephony Billing Systems and Processes, including mediation, rating, and invoicing
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar data management software
- Experience with new service launches or project rollouts is highly desirable
