Large and ever-growing retail company with multiple locations, is looking to hire

HEAD OF IT 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality infrastructure, security and applications support service to the business, ensuring incidents and problems are handled efficiently and effectively, with an emphasis on root cause resolution.
• Deliver successful infrastructure, security and business applications changes according to priorities and budgets set.
• To manage the IT Steering Committee and help determine the strategic and operational priorities of IT changes with the business
• To participate in the creation of the overall IT project program and budget for the information technology projects and IT services.
• To manage external suppliers who provide 3rd party co-provision services and/or development services
• To lead the execution of approved projects, providing appropriate resources to develop and implement agreed changes within approved budgets.
• To assist the business with rollouts as necessary.
• To be aware of industry direction/standards and contribute to the identification of improvements to the company’s operational environment, whilst following strategic direction.
• To have a high level of knowledge of the business issues faced by the business functions at all levels.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Demonstrated ERP and/or Legacy system expertise
• Demonstrated ability to translate detailed business requirements to system configuration specifications
• Sound knowledge of Infrastructure and Security
• 2+ years’ cross-functional experience
• 3+ years’ experience in ERP
• 2+ years’ experience in Business Systems analysis
• 3+ years’ experience required in Application design/development
• 2+ years’ experience in Project Management

Optional Requirements

• Working experience in retail / POS applications
• Good Knowledge of BI Tolls
